The responsibilities for this role include:

Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filingArranging travel, visas and accommodation and occasionally, traveling with the line manager to take notes or dictaion at meetings and to provide general assistance at presentationsScreening of all incoming calls, enquiries and requests, and handling as as when appropriateMeeting and greeting visitors at all level of seniorityOrganizing and maintaining line manager's diary and appointmentsDealing with incoming emails, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of line managerTaking minutes and dictationCarrying out background research and presentation of findingsProducing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentationsOrganizing and ensuring line manger is well prepared and punctual for meetingsLiasing with clients, suppliers and other staff

The requirements for the role include:

A good first degree in administration or managementMinimum of 5 years experience in similar role, with experience working with expatriates an added advantageExceptional written and oral communication skillsExcellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of range of Microsoft Office packagesAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesGood organizational and time management skillsHonesty, reliability and attention to detailFlexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlinesDiscretion and good understanding of confidentiality issues.Ability to research, digest, analyze and present material clearly and conciselyExcellent interpersonal skills
