Head of Human Resources and Admin

Summary of Duties:
HR - Section

Proactively engage with all stakeholders at all levels to promote a results-driven, merit-based organisational culture geared towards long-term, sustainable, successImplementation of all people processes (recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, talent development), thus enabling functional managers to constantly achieve their objectivesEstablish and lead organizational initiatives that will support the development and growth of the business and organisational effectiveness (e.gsuccession planning)Development and implementation of competitive and sustainable compensation planFoster and safeguard industrial peace

Admin - Section

Proactive and cost-efficient facility managementWorld-class general housekeeping both for the factory and the offices (e.eg: regular pest control, servicing of office equipment, PABX, etc)Management of all company vehicles (i.ecars, buses, trucks & motorbikes), ensuring they are well maintained, safe and properly insured at all timesIdentifies, inspects and vets properties prior the company wishes to leaseProcurement NAFDAC approvalsProcurement and renewal of all statutory licensesCo-ordinates all SHE related matters; develops and implements such policiesProvides physical security to all company locationsRuns the canteen/cafeteriaProvides office stationery and related servicesProvides utilities including office telephones, mobile phones, etc.Manages the filing, storage and security of official documents.

Qualifications & Experience

Diverse HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior position (Head of HR, Deputy Head or HR manager) coupled with some admin experiencePrevious exposure to a manufacturing setup is essentialHaving worked with a top-notchorganisation highly desirableExcellent knowledge of employment laws and regulationsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficient in succession planning and talent developmentAbility to proactively maintain accord at all levels of the organisation, reduce conflict and promote a harmonious yet performance-based and results-oriented cultureDemonstrable capability in designing, deploying, maintaining and updating policies and proceduresExperience in working with unions and proactively preventing industrial conflictProven recruitment experienceSolid analytical skills to proactively tackle root cause of people issues
