Job Description
Responsibilities:
To proactively manage the entire Technical function of our client covering: Access, Core and Transmission Networks; Billing; and IT Applications and Infrastructure.
To provide leadership and professional training and development to a team of engineers and IT specialists across multiple sites across the country.
Day to day management of the entire technical function of our client, while proactively delivering best in class customer service metrics and expectations.
Key Objective:
Complete understanding of entire network architecture
Comprehensive plan for improvement actions.
Implementation of improvement actions including network roll out plans for other cities
Visible and measured Improvements in Network uptime.
Position reports to the Chief Operating Officer with daily communications and formal weekly meetings
Desired Skills & Experience
Skills:
Expertise in Core, Access, Transmission Network design, build and management for data and voice;
In-depth understanding of data and voice billing;
Good understanding of business critical applications for CRM, email and accounting;
People management and Communication.

Ideal industry background: Telecommunications operator background as minimum, with operating experience in Nigeria desired.
Educational background: A minimum of Second Class Upper (3 point GPA on a 4 point scale) first degree in Engineering, IT or related field
