Data Centre HVAC Technician (DCACT)
Responsibilities:
The Data Centre HVAC Technician will be responsible for the Data Centre Physical Infrastructure both for the White Space area and also the other supporting Infrastructure. He will maintain various Sub-systems of the BMS like Chillers, PACs, etc.. He would need to work closely with the BMS operators and other teams to ensure all the Alerts/Incidents/ Requests are handled and resolved within SLAs.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
A thorough understanding and work experience of HVAC systems for Data Centers and Server RoomsGood experience handling HVAC systems namely Chillers, PAC’s, DX Type units etc.Capable of handling expansion projects in line with the customer requirementsExcellent trouble shooting skillsExecute all preventive maintenance schedules and update relevant documentation and checklistsMaintain adequate records for issues received for operational audits.Handle all kinds of HVAC related provisioning for end customers within the shortest timelineThrough understanding of Energy Management Maintenance of HVAC systems both chilled water based and DX type.Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
At least 3 years of experience in large campus/Data center establishments using above infrastructure.Any relevant Industry certifications will be an added advantage.Technical Knowledge of various HVAC and sub systems.Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)Documentation and reportingCost conscious professional, successfully exhibiting excellence in significant savings through effective execution and evaluation of projectsStrong organizational skills and innovative problem solving abilitiesGood communication & interpersonal skills, multitasking with an ability to interact with a wide range of people and be a Good Team player
