Job Title: Commercial Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
The CM will be reporting to the managing Director ICEO, the Commercial manager will be solely in charge of the Commercial and Business development Division of the Company and responsible for ensuring the achievement of revenue and gross margin targets for the Division.
Profile of the Commercial Manager
The Commercial Manager will be an experienced individual who has risen through the ranks of the industry and will ideally have an engineering, project management background.Among the qualities the ideal candidate must possess a high commercial and contractual awareness, strong client liaison and negotiations and proven project management and team leadership skills:He must also have an extensive understanding of the oil and gas engineering and construction industry as well as being capable of easily adapting to the ever changing environment.Key Responsibilities Includes Amongst Others
To take sale charge of the commercial and business development division of the Company to ensure and achieve order intake revenue and gross margin targetsDevelop a commercial & technical strategy for all major tenders and project acquisition targets and maintain a complete understanding of the business environment, market trends, drivers and issues that will impact on the Companies businessTo advise the Company on good business, negotiate Contracts, manage all financial aspects of the project and seek new opportunities that the company can exploit in a bid to expand its businesses activityTo develop the business profile by enhancing, informing and changing the customer perspective of our business and particularly engineering skills and expertise and the ability to be innovative.Ensure the development of sustainable relationships with new and existing clients, throughout the life cycle (from the initial stage of tendering, contract development, project execution and through closeout)Manage and assist as and when required sound strategy to development in actual negotiation of technical, commercial and contractual issues with clientsWork closely with Project managers/ Head of Projects to identify project needs for commercial and technical engagement and define acceptable parameters and limitations in the acquisition and execution of those projectsBasic Requirements
A first degree in Engineering Minimum of 20 years experience ( Candidate must have at least worked a minimum of 10 - 15 years as Commercial manager) in Oil and gas Industry including on I offshore or subsea facilities Project Management is an added advantageProven track record showing in figures the worth of businesses won having worked as a Commercial ManagerMust be able to develop and maintain a complete understanding of the business environment , market trends, drivers and issues that will impact the Company's businessCandidate must have very strong commercial capabilities, Strong technical economics skills and a proven record of market Analysis and Business Acumen at a senior levelMust have in-depth competency and experience at dealing with regulatory authorities in the oil and gas sectorThis position offers excellent career opportunities, very competitive and negotiable remuneration awaits the right candidate
