Graduate LWD Field Specialist at Baker Hughes - Oil &Gas

At Baker Hughes, the Field Specialist - LWD is responsible for running logging while drilling services and operations on the wellsite, as well as providing advice and direction to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues. This position is also responsible for maintaining frequent internal and external customer contacts in order to maintain and grow the company’s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industryKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIESUnder general supervision provides resolution to problems of moderately complex scope at the well site where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.Exercises judgment to determine the appropriate action at the well site by relying upon hands on experience and classroom based training of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques.Responsible for knowing the operational status of field equipment at the well site and maintaining it when appropriate.Executes other related duties as assigned.Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.  Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalismConduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core ValuesSuccessfully complete additional advanced technical training and assigned well site development programsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSTwo year Technical Degree requiredField industry experience for LWD servicesFlexible & adaptive working approachMinimum of 1 to 3 years relevant experienceMust be computer literateGood communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSAbility to work in challenging drilling and logging environments and to provide complex solutions to the CustomerStrong communication and inter-personal skills; excellent customer awarenessAbility to relate to well site personnel at all levels, be a strong team member Baker Hughes is a leading supplier of oilfield services, products, technology and systems to the worldwide oil and natural gas industry.
