The Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organization to recruit for its Executive Secretariat based in Cotonou in the Republic of Benin, a qualified staff among the nationals of the member countries: Cote d'lvoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria, to fill the following position:

Identification of the Position

Position: Chief Accountant
Place of Work: ALCO Executive Secretariat I Cotonou - Benin
Contract Duration: One (01) year renewable
Working Languages: French and English
Date of Assumption of Duty: November 2014

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Administration and Finance (OAF), the incumbent will assist the latter in financial responsibilities; The incumbent will supervise the accounting team of 04 accountants and manage accounting activities.

Required Profile and Qualification

Holder of at least a Master's degree in accounting and financial managementA minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management with at least 2 years in supervision of an accounting teamAt least 2 years' experience in accounting and financial management of development projects or international institutions funded by bilateral and multilateral donorsHave sound knowledge of at least one accounting softwarePossess good knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and others)Should have good command of English and French (spoken, comprehension and written)
