Senior Project Engineer
Reporting to:
· Project Manager
Purpose
· Assist project manager in the overall management of project, ensuring effective operation and client communication.
Key aims and objectives
· Ensures project execution is in line with the company standards and other acceptable global engineering standard.
· Participate in preparation of brief, project planning schedules, weekly milestone/report update.
· Assess results for applicability, validity and conformance to specifications.
· Work with sub-contractors for successful completion of project.
Prime Responsibilities and Duties
· Develop Project Execution Plan (PEP), Method Statement, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Manpower Planning.
· Coordinate with QA/QC for timely qualification of welders, preparation and approval of project deliverables.
· Generation of project Technical Query Request (TQR) and method statements.
· Coordinate with Engineering during the production of shop drawings, weld maps and revision/modification.
· Co-operate with, participate in and strive to improve the company’s HSE management system..
· Training/Mentoring of junior Project Engineers, E & I Design Engineers on the job
Other Duties:
· Preparation of load out procedures and accountability for successful load out operations
· Co-ordinates interface activities.

· Candidate must possess a first degree in Engineering
· Possess 5-8 years’ work experience in Oil & Gas sector
· Must have sound ability to develop personal goals as well as organizational goals
· Must be versatile, able to motivate others, dedicated to maintain high quality standards in the job.
· Must be a team player with the ability to meet a realizable target.
