This position is based in Lagos- Nigeria.

Implement/ Adapt the Africa Strategy to local MarketAnalyze market environment and company business performance, identify strengths and weaknesses propose and develop appropriate strategiesEnsure the responsibility of customers portfolio (distributors, agro dealers, commercial farms, Key players) by insuring and optimising the distribution setup & maximizing integrated short and long term profitability.Develop good customer’s relationship to achieve sales objectives and new product developments, seek for clients satisfaction.Support and implement financial marketing tools policy and credit managementContribute to develop crops solutions and services on selected crops and segmentsContribute to future ex stock business structure set upNegotiate local distribution agreements within the companys’ compliances, processes and regulationsSet up commercial terms and conditions (discounts, promotions, rebates and payment terms) adapted to crop segments and requirements allowing adequate remuneration for our partnersAssist the Marketing Manager in surveys, action plans, product launchesParticipate to product positioningCreate customers intimacySet up of management principles tools allowing collaborators actions planning (weekly planning, monthly report, etc...)Define training actions for the sales force as well as action plan to develop team members capabilitiesEnsure costs control engaged by sales force via costs note and PCMEnsure regular visits to the different districts to check the market environment and verify colleagues work qualityContinual evaluation of the collaborators to identify possible gaps or flinching’sSet up of sales force computerization with IT Control and follow up of clients orders, prices lists and risk situationsFollow up payments situation with credit management DepartmentPrepare business monthly report and dashboard with controlling departmentA relevant university degreeConfirmed experience in sales, marketing would be a plusAgriculture degree or 5 years’ experience in the sectorGood knowledge about the market and the industryManagement skillsPlanning and reporting skillsAdvanced computer skillsAnalytical and strategic thinking with a good pragmatic approachCommunication & negotiation skills, persuasiveness and diplomacyFlexibility, ability to anticipate in an unstable environmentAbility to handle critical situationsQuick LearnerLanguages: English , French could be a plus
