Our Client, a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company that has been operating in Nigeria for over 40 years seeks to recruit a Shift Quality Control Engineer:

Location:

            AWAIL, Agbara

Primary Job responsibility:

            Work with production engineer to ensure that the Quality norms are followed

Job Description:

       Check the dimensions of Slit coils, tubes and purlins using micrometer and Vernier calipers and meter tapes       Put on hold products which do not meet the specifications       Audit measurement of weight of products for their conformance to standards       Report results to the Quality in-charge for further actions like re work, reject       Ensure that the correct tags are put on the products being manufactured       Plan for the necessary tools and devices so that the above job can be performed satisfactorily       Understand the tags put on the products like HR coils & CR coils.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications& Experience:

       A Diploma / Engineer with a science back ground  who has worked in a metal forming industry like Tubes, Purlin, Cable tray for a minimum period of 2 years       Must be able to understand the measuring instruments for errors, calibration, least count       Hands on experience is essential       Must be able to read quality standards

Place of Assignment: Agbara, ogun State.
