Draughtsman – Dimensional Controller

Reporting to: Dimensional Control Lead/Dimensional Control Surveyors

Purpose/Role:

To create dimensional reports using AutoCAD  and MS Office software for issue to clients and fabricators

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:

To interpret digital surveys carried out with EDM and produce a report to relevant parties.

·         To assist the Dimensional Surveyors by extracting information from design drawings to allow accurate setting out and checking of key / 3 dimensional points.

3yrs+ experience in AutoCAD softwareAbility to interpret and understand digital survey methodsAbility to work under pressure and be accurate at all timesAbility to work alone with minimal supervisionAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsAbility to understand scale/blocks/annotations within AutoCAD
