We provide psychological and counselling services, inpatient facilities/ treatment, day hospital, rehabilitation, community care etc. In addition we treat all forms of disorders related to your mental health and drug addiction.

We are recruiting to fill the below position of Accountant

Accountant

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Accounting:

Set-up and maintain a Computerized/ledger accounting system in line with accepted procedures.Ensure that proper financial procedures and systems are operated and maintained throughout the organisation.Maintain and monitor the petty cash fund and bank balances to ensure sufficient funds are always available depending on the Organisation’s needs.Provide monthly financial reports and clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; in an accurate and timely manner to the Medical Director.Ensure that the organisations financial statements are "fair," complete and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.Record and account for daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required files and supporting documentation serving as evidence of transactions.Ensure purchase requests are approved (authorized) before releasing of cash; Manage processes to record & reconcile expenses.Disbursement of cash advances and reconciliation to ensure recovery.Analyse financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and keep management abreast of current and projected company financial position.Maintain listing of accounts receivable and payable; make deposits of revenue generated at least twice a week.Ensuring financial and resource accountability and effective management for records as required for auditing.

Payroll Management:

Prepare fortnightly payroll, calculate salaries and benefits control of salary payments to staff, including tax liabilities, obtain approval and process to bank.Verify pay amounts, hours of work, and deductions from the Human resources unit.Produce & issue pay slipsMaintain all payroll records

Medical Billing and payment:

Prepare & send Medical bills (invoices) to patients weekly to avoid excessive accumulated out standings.Monitor and document payments transactions;Follow up with patients when payment lapses occurIdentify and resolve any billing complaints made by the patient or their family.

Budgets:

Prepare and maintain the monthly & annual budgets in conjunction with relevant departments.Prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual cost and provide management with financial advice on the revised budget.Monitor organization spending to ensure its within agreed budgets.

Others:

Maintain a filing system for all financial documentsEnsure the confidentiality and security of all financial documents

Requirements
Education and Qualification:

Accounting degree or equivalentMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial adviceMust be a chartered accountant or taking final examsKnowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulationsProven financial analysis and forecasting abilityProduction and interpretation of management accountsProven ability to provide support, guidance and training to financial and non-financial managers and colleaguesCommunication and reporting skills (verbal and in writing).Experience of working in a cross-cultural environment and in insecure or complex environmentsAbility to work to deadlines with good prioritization and time management skill.Good computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsProficiency in QuickBooks accounting softwareDecision making skillsCommunications skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyBe flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics

Position: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities:

Counsel individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress, substance abuse, and family situations, in order to modify behaviour and/or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment.Offering therapy and treatments for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, and addiction, social and interpersonal problems.Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioural issues, and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurses, social workers, education professionals, health visitors, psychiatrists and occupational therapists;Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, Intensity, and duration of therapy.Prepare and type a psychological formulation for every patient in therapyEvaluate the effectiveness of counselling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, and then modify plans and diagnoses as necessary.Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.Obtain and study medical, psychological, social, and family histories, by interviewing individuals, couples, or families, and by reviewing records.Select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests in order to obtain information on individuals' intelligence, achievements, interests, and personalities.Utilize a variety of treatment methods such as psychotherapy, hypnosis, behaviour modification, stress reduction therapy, psychodrama, and play therapy.

Requirement:

A minimum of a Master’s degree in Clinical psychologyKnowledge of Psychological Formulations using different psychological modelsKnowledge of Psychological Assessment using standardized tests/scalesKnowledge and application of psychological principles/modelsPsychological treatments/interventionsMinimum of 2 year internship and/ or paid Clinical experienceExcellent remuneration packages exist for all roles, and will be commensurate with experience.

Position: Medical Officer
Location: Abuja
Work Type: Part time - 4 to 5 days a week; including saturdays
Responsibilities: 

Inpatient Assessment, ward rounds and review (diagnosis, management plan medications).Liaising with consultants with regards to Inpatient and Outpatient care.Outpatient review and initial assessment.Relating with patients relatives / caregivers on present state of health and further management.Home pickups of clients/potential clients.Staff reviews on health related matters.Providing documentation as regards Health reports and discharge, summaries of clients.Attending to emergencies as regards clients (inpatient) health care.

Requirements: 

A good Medical degree.Experience in patient assessment.Must have completed NYSC.Attention to detail.Good listening ability.Strong communication and interpersonal skill.Excellent relationship management.Proactive problem solving approach.Stress tolerance.High level of professionalism.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Must have excellent inter personal skillProactive problem solving skill and a friendly dispositionMust have at least MBBSMinimum of 3 years experience

Position: Consultant Psychiatrist

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Part time – 30 hours a week including alternate Saturdays (Applicants interested in Full time are also encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities : 

Assessment, Diagnosis and treatment : Responsible for patient assessment prior to admission, in patient care, discharge planning and aftercareResponsible for treating and managing mental illness, emotional disturbance and abnormal behavior in patients by prescribing psychotherapeutic treatments and medication.Provide Clinical leadership in interaction, planning and collaboration with multidisciplinary team comprising of Psychiatric Nurses, Social Workers, and Clinical Psychologists in delivering a comprehensive high quality service.Management of complexity, severity and risk to the patient, contain anxieties within the team and have overall responsibility of patient treatment plans whilst liaising with the multidisciplinary teamConstruct an accurate summary of patient’s needs, strengths, and a comprehensive individualized risk assessment that contributes to care planning.Collaborate with Medical Director in taking overall clinical responsibility for monitoring client treatment and delivery of servicesTo communicate effectively through regular contact with patients, relatives and any other concerned bodies.To contribute to other departments in the organization – Business development, Administration and Management.

Requirement: 

Applicant must have a degree in Medicine (MBBS) from a well-known institutionApplicant must be a registered member of Medical and Dental council Of Nigeria and should still own a valid practicing licenseLicensed Consultant PsychiatristDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team settingAbility to synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective and evidence based clinical recommendationShould have a comprehensive understanding of mental illness, signs and symptoms, side effects, psychotropic medication and contemporary treatment models

Position: Projects Officer
Location: Abuja
Work plan: Part Time,  4 - 26 hours a week
Duties:

Project Officer’s main role of duty is to monitor the progress and be in charge of project management of specific projects as directed.Responsible for the design, layout and coding of the Organization’s website.Responsible for the maintenance and content management of the internet websites of the Facility.Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, fliers, and internet websites.

The candidate should:

Be highly creative with a strong visual senseHands on experience in web designingGood I.T. SkillsMust be proficient in Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and other related applicationsExcellent use of social media sites like Facebook, twitter and the likesCan create confidential chart forums online etc.Ability to write proposals is an added advantage

Requirement:

We are recruiting to fill th position of:

Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Location: Two Units: Abuja and Zuba (Suleja)

Job Description A new service located in Wuse 2, Abuja is recruiting bank staff with a view to permanent positions for the right candidates.Roles include: Supporting mental health patients through recovery Providing high standards of care/support Crisis support and intervention Observation and escorting duties Assisting nursing staff with clinical and non clinical tasks Managing potentially violent and confrontational situations (control and restraint training will be provided) Flexibility to work shift pattern Training is provided with all expenses reimbursed following successful completion. Previous experience not necessary, but may be an added advantage.Qualification First degree Psychology, Social Work or Counselling.Remuneration Salary: 30 - 40 k depending on experience.Application Closing Date
