Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceDemonstrable math and computer  proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.Working knowledge of business operations.

Job Description

S/he will build and maintain good relationship with stakeholders at the State and IGA levels; ensure commitment and involvement of State and Local Government authorities in the programme; and support community mobilization to ensure participation, support and sustainability of the programme.

Qualifications

University Degree in communications or related social science field with substantial experience in advocacy and policy development Research in the development context;Good understanding of the possibilities and tactics for influencing decision and policy makers, politicians, donors, and other key actors; Knowledge of the media and its role in raising awareness and shaping public policy:Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and demonstrable ability to think strategically, innovatively and practically to ensure achievement of desired change objectives;Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences at local, state and national levels.

REQUIREMENTS

ª       Advanced university degree (minimum of Master’s degree) in Public Health, Medical Sciences or related field

ª       5 years of more experience in decentralized program planning, support to implementation and monitoring and evaluation in the field of PART or PMTCT

ª       Up to date knowledge of global PART, EID, PMTCT technical guidelines, program guidance  and knowledge of national and sub national levels

ª       Proven experience with leading bottleneck analysis, assessments etc and using the results of strategic program planning

ª       Strong writing and communication skills and the aptitude to handle competing messages and priorities with multiple audiences

ª       Fluency in written and verbal English
