Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Location: Jos Plateau State

Duties
The Chief Security Officer is the Head of the Security Division and shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-today provision/supervision of Security Services and advises on general security matters as they affect the University Community.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess the following: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent with at least ten (10) years cognate experience. Candidates should have received appropriate training, and must have several years of relevant experience in the Armed Forces, the Police and Security work; and would have attained the rank of at least Lt. Col. or Asst. Police Commissioner or its equivalent. An Intelligence or Crime Management background will be an advantage. Candidates must be capable of maintaining and developing the necessary Security Policies and fire fighting arrangements covering both day and night shifts.

Condition of Service
As applicable in Federal Universities.

Salary
CONTISS 13/1     -    2,823,869 per annum
