Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Report to: General Manager
Responsibilities
Manage the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of corporate warehouses. Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product. Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization. Take into account full implications of freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space. Federal Customs shipping experience
Qualification and Key Competencies
Ba/BSc Degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics Management or any Social sciences. 5 years + experience in Warehouse/Inventory Management/logistics in a trading/wholesalers (industrial goods) environment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages. Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills
