Job Title: Specialist Application Design

Job Summary

Plan, analyze and design multi-domain IT solutions to engender a world-class and extensible architecture which provides platforms for sustainable business capabilities in a fast-paced telecoms environment

Principal Functions
Analyze, architect and design IT systems including enterprise IT, BSS/ OSS and related telco platforms Provide internal consultancy aimed at investigating business systems, identifying options for improvement and bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT Assess and evaluate the business's strategic programmes requiring IT inputs Create or contribute to the development of concise and accurate documentation of solution designs (functional and technical) for existing and newly-deployed solutions within the technology environment Interface with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure effectively optimized adoption and delivery of solutions


Educational Requirements First degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related discipline


Experience, Skills & Competencies Between three (3) and five (5) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate: Good understanding of telecoms business and technology models Hands-on experience in User Support and Maintenance, Business Application Development and Business Application Knowledge
