Job description
Identify and carry out marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of the company’s range of Crop Protection and Public Health Products to major customers and farmers, in accordance with agreed business plans.Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.Develop ideas and create offers for sales and marketing to major customers/ accountsMonitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.Cultivate healthy collaborative network with research institutes for sustainable relationshipsIdentify New opportunities for products within the company’s portfolioRequirements
Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics or a similar qualificationMinimum 5 years cognate experience in Management position in Crop protection industrySound Knowledge of the Nigeria Crop Protection and Non Crop Industry, Nigeria nation and her agro-eco systemEnglish (a second European will be an added advantage)Strong commercial and market orientation (experience in sales and process organization)Excellent Customer Relationships and customer focusStrategic thinking and strong agronomist know how in an international environmentAbility to act decisively and grasp concepts easilyICT literacyAbility to communicate clearly and persuasively and solve problemsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesBe willing to work flexibly in a multi-cultural department / environmentThis is a one year renewable contract positionOffer
