Deputy Asset Support Manager at Adexen Recruitment Agency

Adexen HR and Recruitment Services is looking to recruit a Deputy Asset Support Manager for one of its clients.

Our client is a leading European group providing multi-technical services in the areas of electrical, mechanical and HVAC engineering services and communications systems, as well as in specialised energy services.

The Deputy Asset Support Manager needs to maintain good communication with other departments and main maintenance contractors. Decisions have to be taken under pressure in case of critical problem on the operations site(s).

Within his field (mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical), he will prepare the job in term of planning, spare part POB, work permit. He is responsible for the quality of maintenance carried out and ensures the satisfactory performance. He will also make sure that operations are carried out in strict compliance with company's current safety rules and operational procedures and in accordance with standard industry practice.

Reporting to the Asset Support/Contract Manager, the Deputy Asset Manager's responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

1. Operations

He anticipates, plans site requests in logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, taking the various constraints into account when planning and carrying out operationsHe participates in the preparation & scheduling by ensuring all materials and services are organized and optimized as required of all site activitiesHe liaises with all third parts for troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment activities.He takes part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetingsPrepare and dispatch all logistics document such as helicopter booking request, boat manifest, accommodations booking request, etc… ,Follow up POBLiaise with client representing for logistics services, such as : office maintenance, accommodations allocation, etc…

2. Methods

He analyses vendors repairs, failure reports, intervention repair, etc, and consolidate this data to make proposals to COMPANY for improvements and modifications.Reviewing the stock management regarding spare parts (type of management, re-supply thresholds, etc.)Proposes and justifies recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability, efficiency or maintainability and works in good collaboration with other entities to execute desired modifications,Makes sure that all Equipment and Spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base)Liaise with third party contractors including Vendor Engineering personnel to produce a detailed closeout report that captures all work history and provides recommendation for future improvement and records compliance to safety and environmental standards.Participates in different meetings

3. Quality Assurance

Verifies the quality of his team intervention by frequent on-site checksEnsures that the members of his team have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures.

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications and skills:

An Engineering Degree in mechanical engineering or related degree.Must possess special knowledge in Mechanical: turbines (LM2500 FRAME V MARS/CENTAUR SOLAR etc..) – compressors(THERMODYN) – pumps (FLOWSERVE SULZER)Minimum 3-4 years experience in the same fieldMedical clearance to travel and work offshore.A knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installationsLeadership, reliability and work confidentiality.Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions.Languages: English necessary, French and Portuguese an advantage.
