The Partnership for Transforming Health System 2 (PATHS 2) Programme, a DFID-funded program in Nigeria, aims to improve the planning, financing and delivery of sustainable and replicable pro-poor health services for common health problems, focusing on six states and the federal government. Based at the PATHS2 State Field Office in Lagos, the Driver 3 performs the operations, maintenance, and management of project vehicles, including routine maintenance, registration, tagging, and tax exemptions, as well as providing transportation for project activities for the PATHS2 Lagos State Team. As needed, the Driver 3 performs office support tasks, as requested by the Lagos Finance & Administration Manager and the State Team Leader.
Job Summary
Operates a passenger motor vehicle in accordance with Administrative Manager or Office Manager’s instruction, to transport project and/or associated project personnel and official visitors within the city and surrounding area.Maintains vehicle in clean and serviceable condition and performs minor maintenance of a preventative nature.Completes trip tickets or other daily vehicle records.May be assigned to drive the head of an associated agency or VIP visitors for a portion of the time.May deliver documents. May operate a small bus or carryall on a regular run one or more times a day. May drive pickup or light trucks to deliver materials and equipment.Key Responsibilities

Project Vehicle Responsibilities
Drive project, and project affiliated personnel to project sites within and outside of Lagos for project activities, including official site visits.Establish record keeping systems for vehicle issues, including fuel, mileage, and trip logs; observe all company vehicle utilization policies, and in-country traffic lawsResponsible for maintenance of project vehicle, keeping accurate records, and following a schedule of routine maintenance, cleaning, etc.Ensure the readiness of the vehicle for transport service by checking oil, water, fuel and other parts of the vehicle prior to driving.Perform project routine business around Lagos, such as receiving and delivering official project documentation, general office purchasing, etc.Office Responsibilities
Purchase of basic cleaning and kitchen supplies (coffee cleaners, etc.) and assist in the purchase of other project authorized items.Perform relevant general service activities such as collection of proforma, processing customs duty clearance/VAT exemption.Work with the Administrative Assistant to arrange for repairs, maintenance, and improvements to the office as necessary.Regularly check post office boxes, collect and dispatch letters, parcels and other correspondence.In general, perform any other tasks as designated by the Finance & Administration Manager and as directed by the State Team Leader.
