Role Summary

To design, develop, implement, monitor and measure performance of all staff from the time of recruitment to exit of staff.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and subsequently maintain a robust Performance Management and Improvement system.Conduct workshops for staff on performance management system to enhance understanding and adherence to system standards.Analyse staff performance reports to ascertain areas for support in improving performance.Assist in managing organisational culture and focus specifically on a performance based culture in line with organizational goal.Liaise with unit heads to review periodically Key performance indicators for the various job positions.Facilitate and manage Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process for low performing employees to close performance gaps and to optimize overall work performance.Liaise with the Learning and Development Specialist to identify necessary interventions to improve performance.Ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results; and coordinate total company appraisal processes to ensure fairness and objectivity in the procedure.Assist in developing HR Strategies for high performance and business development in line with corporate vision & mission statement.Prepare analysis of all staff performance reports.Design and conduct client satisfaction survey for performance management system improvement.

Required Qualification

A first degree in Business Administration, social sciences or any other related discipline with minimum of 5years experience.

Job purpose

As Performance Improvement Senior - Finance, you'll contribute technically to Finance client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You'll also identify potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you'll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team.

Position Description
To render advisory service with regards to the Enduring Performance management process and staff recognition scheme, focusing on implementation of structures and processes to entrench them in the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate the end-to-end processes pertaining to Enduring Performance management.
• Embed the performance management process in the group
• Managing the performance monitoring and year-end performance appraisal phase of the EPM process.
• Monitoring the year-end disputes and ensure resolution by HRCs
• Monitoring and managing the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process
• To coordinate and facilitate all communication to staff on EPM, including periodic analysis and preparation of reports for stakeholders.
• To provide support in training and guidance to staff on the EPM process.
• To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines in the process.
• In partnership with key stakeholders participate in the development and implementation of action plans to improve employee satisfaction, motivation and retention of key staff.
• Ensure the implementation of special projects/employee engagement initiatives that apply bank-wide, as and when required.
• Organize the staff awards events
• To create the required awareness to staff on the recognition scheme.
