Job Title: Ticketing and Reservation Officer

Responsibilities Monitor clients travel request both online and over the phone to ensure that tickets are issued out promptly and without errors. Make flight and hotel reservations and bookings. Follow up on customers about their reservation status before flight departure or hotel check-in date. Prepare daily and weekly sales report.

Qualification and Requirements Should have a minimum qualification of OND Must have at least 2 - 4 years working experience in a Travel Agency or Airline in similar capacity. IATA certificate and experience on Fares and Ticketing. Ability to use two GDS (Amadeus ,Sabre and Galileo) Must be adaptable, problem solver and possess the ability to effectively communicate to both clients and new customers. Good knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office and power point. Have the ability to ratiocinate under pressure. Must be a team player. Must be out-of-the-box thinker.Application Closing Date

Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible to assist in making and confirming reservations for passengers, selling tickets for the the airlines lines and to assist passengers requiring special assistance to board or depart conveyance. Requirements To be successful in this role you must have a University Degree with a minimum of 1 years experience in an airline / travel / hospitality industry. You will be service oriented with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge in IATA standard reservation/ticketing procedures is required with fair knowledge of world geography and exposure to reservation system is advantageous. Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and adequate knowledge of PC-based applications are also required.

Keep self up-to-date on airlines rules, policies and procedures. Handle queries including re-issues and refunds in a timely manner. Be fully informed and stay abreast of all airline rules and regulations, international tariffs, and other industry requirements and accurately applies this information when making reservations or answering internal and external clients questions. Exceeds client expectations while completing complex travel arrangements with air, hotel, and other travel related vendors offering an array of lowest and alternate fares to best meet the needs of the specific customer/traveler. Accurately Price air schedules and provides air quotes and recommendations. Establish strong relationships with clients and agents Produce the daily and monthly sales report in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Requirements
Possess a minimum of OND Have experience on Fares and Ticketing. Ability to use Sabre GDS and Hands on experience on Airline reservation systems like AMADEUS, GALILEO etc. Ability to read, analyze and interpret travel industry information and travel reservation instruction. Must be able to render excellent Customer Service. Be well versed with computer applications. Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Be willing to work in shifts Must be able to foresee and Manage Risk. Must be adaptable, problem solver and possess the ability to effectively communicate to both clients and new customers. Education and Experience
Possession of OND,  HND, degree with experience in fares and ticketing.
