Responsibilities
To coordinate the management of books of accounts and general ledger and ensure that all postings/entries are effected in accordance with Standard Accounting Practices and regulatory provisions.Responsible for managing and coordinating budgeting and management reporting functions, ensuring accuracy of financial records and compliance with financial management principles.Manage the organisations accounts in a manner that ensure the attainment of financial and corporate goalsCarry on standard operation procedures for daily procedures and processesProduction of statutory accounts, balance sheet etcEnsure allocated statutory accounts are prepared and reviewedOther activities as may be assigned by the organization.
Qualifications
Minimum of B.Sc. in any accounting or administrative disciplineMinimum of 3 – 6 years’ experience in a related positionProfessional qualification in ICAN, ACCA is compulsoryMust be skilled in accounting software packagesProficiency in Microsoft office especially Excel.High acumen for figure, accuracy and attention to detailsProficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and auditManagement accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTrustworthiness, discretion & confidentiality
