2015 SPDC Niger Delta Oversea Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) is delighted to announce the sixth annual SPDC Niger Delta Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme for applicants from Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa States. The objective of the scheme is to provide an opportunity for qualifying students from these Niger Delta States to further their education in courses that are relevant to the oil and gas industry.

In the five years of this programme, 50 students have so far benefitted from the opportunity to study at top rated Universities in the UK on an all expenses paid scholarship.

For the academic year commencing September 2015, SPDC will award ten scholarships for one year MSc studies in partnership with three Universities in the UK - Imperial College London, University College, London and the University of Leeds.

Nigeria LNG Limited Post-Graduate Scholarship Scheme 2015

Applications are now being accepted into the Nigeria LNG Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme for entry into Masters Programmes in the United Kingdom in September 2015.

The Application Process

The application form is to be completed and submitted along with a coloured recent passport photo of the applicant. Documents are not to be attached to the form as these will not be accepted. Applications into the NLNG Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme will be received only via email at nlngpgscholarship@ng.britishcouncil.org. Exceptions will be given only to applicants with ‘special needs’.

Application deadline is midnight on Friday, 21st November 2014. Applications received after this time will not be accepted.

Agbonjagwe Leemon Ikpea Foundation (ALIF) annual scholarship is for indigent students of Nigeria public secondary and tertiary institutions is now open for application. The award is in the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria

Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) Scholarship 2013/2014

The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) - Established in 2009 by the friends, associates and well-wishers of Sir Ahmadu Bello, the late Premier of the defunct Northern Region and Sardauna of Sokoto in collaboration with the governments of the 19 northern states of Nigeria to
promote the exemplary ideals and legacy of Sir Ahmadu Bello. SABMF focal areas are Education, Health, Agriculture, Leadership and Good Governance, Entrepreneurship Development, Peace and Security.

As part of its focus on the advancement of education in Northern Nigeria, the Foundation provides financial support for 190 eligible undergraduates and Higher National Diploma students of Northern Nigeria origin in accredited public universities and polytechnics in Nigeria annually through the award of scholarships.

Applications are hereby invited for the 2013/2014 session and successful applicants will receive their awards during the 2013/2014 academic session. The scholarship award is worth N100,000,00 (One hundred thousand Naira) per student for the duration of an academic session.
